Welcome to Manchester Street School in the heart of 'Friendly Feilding'.

Manchester Street School is a Contributing (Year 0 – Year 6) Primary School situated on the western side of Feilding.

The pupils of Manchester Street School receive an excellent programme that follows the National Education Goals and National Curriculum Statements. We pride ourselves on the professional ability of staff in the delivery of programmes taught and for the rich and wide variety of curriculum that the children have access to.

Large grounds ensure the pupils have plenty of room for sports such as hockey, touch, rugby, soccer, athletics, cricket and softball along with ample hard court areas for netball, volleyball and roller hockey in the winter terms.

The stylised rainbow has been chosen as the school logo as it reminds us of reaching for the highest in all we do and that education is the "pot of gold” to set us on life’s journey. RedYellowGreen and Blue are the four colours used in the rainbow as they represent the four school houses. Each colour represents a core value: Red, caring for each other; Yellow, caring about learning; Green, caring for the environment and Blue, the sea of life, our future.

Our teachers welcome your participation in the education of your child and are appreciative of any support you can offer the child and the school.

We hope that you will enjoy your involvement with our school and will help us make learning an exciting and positive experience for our children. If you would like any more information or have any further questions, then please feel free to contact the school office.
