Uniforms are compulsory for all students in year 4 and below. From 2009, Year 5s will also be expected to wear uniforms.
The Manchester Street School uniform is designed to be practical, comfortable and hard-wearing. Uniforms can be purchased from the school during office hours, or from Postie Plus in Palmerston North.
BOYS: Blue polo shirt (short or long-sleeved), sweat shirt and shorts for summer or plain blue trousers (not jeans) for winter.
GIRLS: Blue polo shirt (short or long-sleeved), sweat shirt, polo fleece top or vest, blue inverted-pleat skirt or skort.
